Grilling in the Summer is the best thing ever in the history of things. Opinion? Nope, that is science and if you don't do it, you should. Even if you're a total newbie to the deeply satisfying practice of cooking over fire outdoors, this book is for you. It has a chapter on different types of grills, tools of the trade, and cooking tips to get you started. If you have your kit assembled, skip straight to the recipes. I honestly don't even know where to start. Grilled Tempeh Satay with Peach Dipping Sauce? That sounds like a miracle of culinary culination. Seventh Inning Stretch Tacos? I want to eat those with my mouth! As well as the Shiny Happy Poppers, Grilled Corn on the Cob with Piquant Sauce, Grilled Picnic Pizza.....on and on. Also worth note, this book isn't as one dimensional as you may think. There are sauces and drinks and salads in here as well, to round out your outdoor summer meals. I'm definitely trying the popcorn on the grill recipe next chance I get!
