Many people as what this shirt is about. It has three meanings:
1. Hunters aim for the heart. We want the animal to hide its heart.
2. Seeing a beautiful animal in the woods going about his or her business, then trying to shoot a hole in it for "sport" is horrible and requires the hunter to hide their heart. There are so many stories of hunters who at some point faced up to their emotions about what they did and felt terrible guilt, but hid their hearts for a while.
3. That rack of antlers could punch a few nice sized holes in a hunter, for a change, so it's also a warning from buck to hunter that they'd better hide their heart as they aren't the only ones who are armed.
