Subtitle: Extraordinary Food from an Ordinary Dude
Holy crap Brian Patton is funny. Michelle likes to sit and read cookbooks like they were novels. Like in bed at night before sleep, I'll look over and she's reading a cookbook. I always thought this was weird, but now I think I've found the cookbook that will find it's way to my bedside table (alongside all those pleather bound classics I spend most of my time reading.....ahem...) Patton is hilarious to read, and the food looks great too (a nice bonus, as it's a cookbook and all.) You'll find in this book some classics, like tempeh bacon, "meat" balls (or as Patton calls them, "My Balls"), and a whole chapter on pizza, but you'll also find a chapter devoted entirely to cocktails. Woo! You'll also find chapters on breakfasts, snacks, salads, sandwiches, and sauces amongst other humorously presented recipes.
