Food justice is a complex issue that covers the rights of both humans and non-human creatures. To gain a well-rounded perspective, we need to not only examine the challenges, movements and growth of entire communities but also listen to the personal, hands-on experiences of individuals striving to survive and thrive. This book is a collection of essays by activists, academics, farmers, and others involved in the Food Justice Movement. With these perspectives, we can hopefully begin to engage and collaborate more fully in the fight for food justice for all.
